The Language and Mentoring Partners (LaMP) program connects enthusiastic English language learners with volunteer tutors. Volunteers do not need to know another language or have prior training in teaching English.
A pairing usually assist a local international friend in learning English but can also help them with other learning requests, such as studying for the US citizenship test or the Tennessee driver's permit test. LaMPs also support elementary children with homework and connections between the family and the school. |
