2nd HOME

Picture

70% of international college students are never invited into an American family's home.

70%. We can change that!
In coordination with Knox County Association of Baptists, KIN has developed a way for your family to safely be a home-away-from-home, for an international college student or two. All it takes is an occasional invitation to dinner or a special occasion in your home, a weekly encouraging connection (phone or text), maybe a care package during exams...the kinds of things you'd do for a college-age friend.

In exchange, you get to make a new friend, learn about a new culture, help a young person enjoy college, and practice biblical hospitality in your family!
