Welcome to the KIN (Knoxville Internationals Network) blog! We are glad you’re here!
This blog exists to share what God is doing in the Metro Knoxville, Tennessee area. We believe that cultural diversity in Knoxville is a gift from God. As His people, we are passionate about welcoming internationals to Knoxville as our family.
God is bringing the nations to Knoxville!
In Knox County Schools, there are 2,600 students from 60 nations speaking 80 languages
Pellissippi State Community College has 300 international students from 100 nations
The University of Tennessee has 1,600 international students from 112 nations
Johnson University in South Knoxville has 21 international students from 11 nations
We envision Knoxville to be a city that embraces individuals from many countries as a family, so they might experience lives of dignity, purpose and hope. KIN connects, equips, and encourages its partners toward this vision, confident that we are more effective together than alone.
Through this blog, we hope you find that kinship bonds overcome the barriers of language and culture, that we are stronger and more beautiful when we come together, and that God is at work among His people. Here at KIN, we celebrate culture and share stories. If you would like to share your story on our blog, email firstname.lastname@example.org to get in touch with us!
