Division Descriptions
Division I
This division is the highest division and as this tournament will span a wider range of players than those who generally participate in sanctioned tournaments, you should sign up for this division if you have a PDGA rating of close to 900 or higher. Players in this division are here to compete seriously, they throw close to 400 feet or further, make 80-90% of circle one putts, and regularly score under-par on most courses they play. Division II
This is a division for players who are very familiar with disc golf and may or may not play tournaments. If you do play tournaments, only sign up for this division if you play in the rec league or below and have a PDGA rating well below 900. Players in this division can throw up to 350 feet, make 60-80% percent of putts inside the circle, and score somewhat close to par on most courses they play. Division III
This is a division for beginning level players or people who do not play disc golf on the regular but are just happy to come support KIN. If you think about disc golf as a way to get your steps in, this division is for you. If you have less than 10 discs and don’t really know what the numbers mean, this division is for you. If you don’t know what the circle is, this division is for you. This division is for any player who cannot throw 300 feet, struggles to make many putts, and usually doesn’t even keep score.
