HOW TO VOLUNTEER

​There are so many opportunities to engage your international neighbors in metro Knoxville! ​To begin reaching out to them as a KIN volunteer, first fill out the Volunteer Application Form. Sharing your time, talents, and resources through KIN helps build relationships that grow a strong community and stronger nation. Thank you for sharing your VOLUNTEER spirit through KIN.

Steps to Becoming a Volunteer with KIN

  • Complete the KIN Volunteer Application. 
  • Read the Volunteer Handbook and affirm that you accept it.
  • Get to know more about KIN and your place at KIN through a One-Hour Interview/Volunteer Orientation. Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to schedule your 1-on-1 orientation.
  • Sign the Confidentiality Agreement & Liability Waiver. 
  • Complete a background check. Cost: $20. You will receive an email invitation following orientation.
  • ​Prayerfully consider opportunities presented, then let us know how and where you’d like to serve!
